The general report contains three parts:

The general data

This part includes the number of participants, the distribution (in days) of the sending delays of the packages, the level of concentration for each microorganism, the size of the samples, the terms of homogeneity and stability control, the microorganisms that can be enumerated.

Data on analytical techniques

It includes details concerning the treatment of samples as they are communicated by laboratories, and parameters (such as method, culture medium, preparation, incubation temperature and duration) for each microorganism.

Performance assessment

Performance assessment is based on the evaluation of the trueness for all RAEMA schemes.
Evaluation of the precision is also realized for Powder RAEMA.
The assigned value for the contamination, standard deviation for proficiency assessment and interlaboratorie’s standard deviation are given for each microorganism in log CFU/g.
Additionally, the standard deviation of precision and reproducibility are supplied for Powder RAEMA.

The individual report contains three parts:

Trueness data

For each microorganism, one page gives the result obtained by the laboratory (in CFU/g and log CFU/g), the z-score and general data on results from all participants for this microorganism (number of laboratories participating to the test, number of laboratories included in the statistical analysis, assigned value for the contamination, standard deviation for proficiency assessment, number of laboratories which obtain satisfactory, questionable and unsatisfactory results). A graphic represents results of all participants; a star symbolizes the result of the concerned laboratory.

Precision data

For Powder RAEMA, the individual report gives precision data.
For each enumeration of microorganism, the 55 results (in CFU/g and log CFU/g), the standard deviation and the precision indication are related. Like the trueness, a graphic represents results of all participants; and a star symbolizes the result of the concerned laboratory.

Evolution of proficiency

For Powder RAEMA, data of trueness, precision and qualitative analysis are followed in time. In this way, the laboratory can see the evolution of its performances.
